John has been practicing Judo for over 20 years, which followed a number of years as a competitive wrestler at the High School and University level. He was formerly president of Club Judo Anjou and Base Borden Judo Club in Ontario.

A former military officer and RMC graduate, John currently works as a professional engineer in manufacturing. John brings a sound sense of mechanics and discipline to his judo teaching.
